¡Hola! Just wanted to let you know that I have some good news for anybody tired of the one-dimensional language content of the blog this week: I'm going to take a break from blabbing about Spanish-language books tonight...to share a post about other people blabbing about Spanish-language books. Psyche! Although Stu and I still plan on presenting some sort of an end of the month link round-up/wrap-up thing for all of the Spanish Lit Month posts at the end of July, I thought I'd get things started early in order to make it easier for everybody to find out about the many other event posts already out there. Please note that this list is a work in progress: I'll be updating it off and on over the next couple of days. ¡Saludos!

I love Lizzy's archive idea so I'll borrow it like she did. A nice way to pull in some Baroja, Unamuno and Galdos in the mix.
ResponderBorrarYeah, I think that idea works quite well for an intro/topical post, Dwight. Will enjoy seeing which titles from those titans make your list. Cheers!
BorrarEh, I just chose 4 obvious ones from what I've already posted on. Hope to get to 2 or 3 goods ones this month. The Mendoza (City of Marvels) is good, but it hasn't captured me the same way the Savolta Case did There's still a way to go, though, so that may change.
ResponderBorrarEnjoyed your post, Dwight, and I wouldn't think those would be "obvious" titles for most other people. Of course, I wish they would be! Will be over to check out your Mendoza post soon (time's flying this month). Cheers!
BorrarI also made a welcome post for Spanish Lit Month, with some links to readings and writing project and (eventually will add some) archive links.
ResponderBorrarThanks, Jeremy, I'll try and be sure to visit soon. Also, I'll add your welcome post on this weekend's week two round-up on Saturday. Cheers!
BorrarI completely forgot to mention the event, but I did six (six!) posts on DQ, in the end over at Shelf Love, if you want to link to any of those. If they don't count because I read them in June, or if you'd like me to go back and edit in a mention of SPLALit Month, just let me know!
ResponderBorrarThat was an oversight on my part, Jenny, so thanks for the reminder about your DQ posts (i.e. no need for you to edit anything!). I'll add them later tonight. Cheers!
